Sequence and schedule
When the schedules of different deliveries and trades do not line up, work stops and timelines slip — the kitchen arrives before the floor is finished, the light fittings before the ceiling is closed, or the sofa while the walls are still being painted.
The delivery schedule is therefore built around the sequence of the works, not the other way round: manufacturers' and suppliers' dates are tied to the moment the site is ready to receive each delivery.

Author supervision
