Privacy Policy

Version 2026-09-25 · Effective from 2026-09-25

This policy explains what personal data DanMarc collects, why, and what rights you have over it, when you contact us, describe a project to us (including a saved draft of it), use the assistant on our site, create a customer account, or place an order.

1. Who controls your data

DanMarc LLC (state registration number 999.110.1599510, tax identification number 01100321) is the data controller for personal data collected through danmarc.am. For data matters, contact us at info@danmarc.am.

2. What we collect

Contact details you provide (name, phone number, email, delivery address); details about your project or space when you submit a design request; order details (items, specifications you approve, delivery information); and payment-related metadata such as payment status and a transaction reference — never your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive banking data, which we never receive or store.

When you fill in our project brief (the “Discuss a project” page): your answers (for example the type and size of the space, the services and rooms you need, style preferences, budget and timing), the sentences you write in your own words, links you add, your name, phone number and/or email address, how you would like us to reply, and your notes. While you fill it in, the page saves the brief automatically on our server as an unsent draft, so that you can return to it in the same browser. Your name, phone number and email address are not saved with a draft, and neither is the consent box: they are stored only when you send the brief. What you write as free text — your notes, your own sentences, descriptions and links — is saved in the draft as you typed it, even if it contains personal details. A draft is not an enquiry: nobody at DanMarc is notified about it, our team's tools do not show it, and it is not added to our customer records. When you press “Send the enquiry”, the brief becomes an enquiry.

If you create a customer account: your first and last name, email address, phone number if you give one, preferred language and password — stored only as a one-way hash, never in readable form; for a business account, also the company name, country and, if you give them, its tax identification number and contact person. To confirm your email address we send you a link that works for 7 days, and we record when the address was confirmed and when you last signed in. If you attach a sent enquiry to your account, we record which account it belongs to, and notes you add to it from your account are stored with it. If we accept the enquiry as a project, your account is given access to that project.

To protect our forms, sign-in and the assistant on our site from abuse, we store a pseudonymised form of your IP address — a one-way hash, not the address itself — with each saved draft, each sent enquiry, each sign-in attempt, each account session and each question sent to the assistant. Such a hash can still be matched to an address by trying every possible address, so we treat it as personal data. With a sign-in attempt we also store the email address that was entered and whether the attempt succeeded. When you send an enquiry, we also store how you reached us: the page you first arrived on, the referring website and any campaign labels (utm parameters) in the link you followed.

If our guided AI consultant is offered instead of the project brief, we store your conversation with it, the answers you give, files you upload and your choices about consent, so that you can continue the conversation and we can prepare your brief.

3. Why we collect it

To respond to your inquiry, prepare a proposal, process and fulfill an order, communicate with you about its status, and meet our own legal and accounting obligations.

We also use it to: let you save an unsent brief and continue it later in the same browser; handle a sent enquiry — record it in our customer records, assign it to a member of our team and remind the team to follow it up; answer the questions you ask the assistant on our site; run your customer account, attach your enquiry to it and, if we accept the enquiry, turn it into a project you can follow; protect our forms, sign-in and the assistant from abuse and automated attacks; and understand which of our pages and campaigns lead to enquiries.

4. Who we share it with

Only as needed to deliver the above: our payment providers (to process a payment you initiate, where an online payment method is offered), our email delivery provider (to send order and lead confirmations), and delivery/logistics partners when arranging delivery. We do not sell your data.

When you send a brief or a message through our contact form, we send a notification to DanMarc's own mailbox through our email delivery provider, with your name, your contact details and what you told us — for a brief, the city, type and area of the property, the package, services and budget you chose, and your notes. If you gave an email address, we also send you a confirmation there. We keep a record of each of these emails: the address, the time and whether it was sent.

The project brief does not send your answers to any AI service: “Start from a sentence” works inside your browser. If our guided AI consultant is offered instead, your messages and any files you upload are sent to an external AI provider to prepare your brief and, if a price quote is prepared from it, to help our team check that quote — only after you agree to this separately. If you use the assistant on our site, what you type in the conversation — including an order number and email address if you ask about an order — is sent to that provider to generate an answer, and if the order number and email match an order, that order’s status, date and total are sent too; we do not keep the conversation. Our team may also use the same provider to help draft a reply from the notes or message you wrote in your enquiry. The name, phone and email fields are not sent, but the notes and message are sent as you wrote them, so anything you typed in them is included. When a team member uses the admin assistant on a customer account, the name on the account and its order and quote history (numbers, statuses, amounts and dates) are sent to the same provider to summarise it or draft a follow-up message. When a team member asks our internal assistant in Telegram, which uses the same provider, about open enquiries, orders or messages, it receives the name on each of them and their status (for enquiries, also the next step our team noted), but not your phone number, email address or what you wrote; its answer, which may include your name, is sent to that team member in Telegram. If the team member then uses it to send an approved reply to your enquiry, the confirmation request shown in Telegram also contains your email address and the full text of that reply.

If our team receives notifications in Telegram, a message about a new enquiry contains only the type of service and property and a link to our admin area, not your name or contact details; messages about orders contain the order number and amount; and a request to approve a price quote prepared from the AI consultant also contains your name.

5. How long we keep it

An unsent brief draft is deleted by our daily clean-up once 90 days have passed since its last edit. You can delete it earlier with “Delete draft”: your answers are removed at once, and an empty technical record without them stays until the next daily clean-up so that deleting cannot be used to get around our abuse limits. When you send the brief, the draft is deleted and the enquiry takes its place.

You can attach a sent enquiry to your customer account yourself, from the browser it was sent from, within 30 days after sending.

We do not currently delete the following automatically: sent enquiries and the records created from them (such as customer records, follow-up notes and email records), customer accounts, sign-in records, and the assistant's abuse-protection records. No deletion period has been set for them yet; for now they stay stored until they are deleted manually, for example at your request (see section 6). The assistant's records hold only a pseudonymised IP address and a time, so we cannot link them to you from a request.

Orders and payment records are kept for as long as needed to fulfill the order, plus any period required by Armenian accounting/tax law.

If our guided AI consultant is offered, a conversation that did not end with a sent enquiry is deleted after 90 days without activity. Files uploaded in such a conversation are not yet removed from file storage by this automatic deletion.

6. Your rights

Under Armenian personal data protection law, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and can object to certain uses of it. Contact us using the details below to exercise any of these rights.

You can delete an unsent brief draft yourself with “Delete draft” in the browser where it was saved. To access, correct or delete a sent enquiry, your customer account or any other data we hold about you, write to us at info@danmarc.am. We first confirm that the request comes from you — usually by replying to the email address or calling the phone number you gave us — and then tell you what we deleted or corrected and anything the law requires us to keep.

7. Cookies

Some cookies are set without asking, because the site cannot work without them. They are set by danmarc.am itself and are not used for advertising:

Shop and account: danmarc_cart keeps your guest cart (90 days); danmarc_customer_session keeps you signed in to your customer account and holds a signed record of your account email and name (14 days, or until you sign out); danmarc_company_context remembers which company you act for in a business account (30 days); danmarc_admin_session is used only by DanMarc staff (8 hours).

Project brief: danmarc_brief_draft lets this browser continue your unsent draft (90 days, renewed each time the draft is saved; removed when you delete the draft or send the brief); danmarc_brief_submit lets this browser be recognised if a send has to be retried after a dropped connection, so the enquiry can still be attached to your account (normally removed right after sending, otherwise after 24 hours); danmarc_brief_claim lets this browser attach your sent enquiry to a customer account, and lets our server fill in the registration form with the name, email and phone from that enquiry — read on our server, never put in a web address (30 days; removed once the enquiry is attached). If our guided AI consultant is offered, danmarc_consultation lets you continue an unfinished conversation (7 days).

Your cookie choice: dm_consent remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies (180 days); delete it in your browser settings to be asked again. The current browser tab also keeps, until it is closed, the campaign labels and referring page of the link you arrived through, so they can be sent with an enquiry, and the account page to return to after signing in. These are not used for analytics.

We use Google Analytics cookies only after you explicitly accept them. They measure visits and site interactions so we can improve the service. No analytics data is sent to Google before consent, analytics is not loaded on customer account pages, and we do not use advertising cookies.
