Fabrics and rugs can look different on screen and in the room, and the same curtain can read cooler in north light and warmer under evening lamps. Samples are therefore reviewed in the room itself, under its own light.

Dimensions are taken on site as well — the curtain rail height, the fold depth, where the rug edge falls against the furniture. The specification is approved before ordering, since made-to-measure pieces are produced to order.
