This pediatric clinic in Abu Dhabi is designed around a simple principle: clinical care should feel clear, reassuring and engaging for children without turning the interior into a themed playground.

The plan combines reception, waiting, consultation, phlebotomy and therapy functions within a continuous visual language. Instead of concentrating play in one isolated room, small activity points, tactile walls, child-scale seating and visual landmarks appear throughout the circulation route. This gives children something familiar to interact with before and between appointments while maintaining clear movement and supervision.

The interior uses expressive postmodern curves, rounded openings and graphic floor patterns balanced by natural timber, terrazzo-like surfaces and a controlled palette of muted blue, teal, terracotta and off-white. Clinical rooms remain practical and organized, with integrated storage, work surfaces, hand-washing points and appropriate medical furniture, while softer lighting and child-friendly details reduce the institutional character of the space.

The result is a compact healthcare environment that combines clinical functionality with a more human, playful and memorable experience for children and accompanying families.
