U Sofa
U Sofa turns Bensen's U Turn lounge chair into a two-seat sofa, keeping the chair's outline and clean lines: 135 cm wide, 80 cm deep and 70 cm high. A structural metal frame sits inside a flexible polyurethane body of injection-moulded foam, and the seat has a soft down cushion. An undercut beneath the seat leaves room for the feet when sitting down or getting up and keeps the sofa visually light. The seat is 38 cm high, the fabric covers attach with Velcro and are removable, and the sofa suits both homes and contract interiors. It is upholstered in Bensen fabric or leather; the exact material and colour are chosen with each order.

Care
Fabric covers attach with Velcro and are removable. Fabric: the usual method is dry cleaning at the lowest possible temperature (mild solvents only — no trichloroethylene or oxidising agents); smooth creases with an iron on the lowest setting or with a steamer once the cover is back on, and use a professional upholstery cleaning service for more thorough cleaning; before dry cleaning, cover the Velcro tabs with strips of Velcro so they cannot catch the fabric. Leather: keep 20–30 cm from radiators and out of direct sunlight, vacuum regularly with a soft brush, dampen water-soluble marks and dry them with a paper towel, and use only water-based leather care products — never solvents; for stains that will not come out, ask a professional upholstery cleaner.
