Morgan

Morgan is Bensen's high-back sofa, made in three sizes — Morgan 150, 210 and 270 (152, 212 and 272 cm wide) — with two, three or four back cushions included respectively. Morgan 270 is built from two frames with two seat cushions. The high back supports the head and shoulders and wraps partly around the sides to form cosy corners, complemented by cut-away arms and generous down-and-feather cushions. A metal and wood panel frame with multi-density structural foam carries seat cushions of multi-density structural foam with down-and-feather filling, and chunky solid wood corner legs lift the seat to 42 cm. The leg finish — Oak, Black Oak or Walnut — is specified with the order. The cover is removable; Morgan is upholstered in Bensen fabric or leather, and the exact material and colour are chosen with each order.

Care

The cover is removable. Fabric: the usual method is dry cleaning at the lowest possible temperature (mild solvents only — no trichloroethylene or oxidising agents); smooth creases with an iron on the lowest setting or with a steamer once the cover is back on, and use a professional upholstery cleaning service for more thorough cleaning. Leather: keep 20–30 cm from radiators and out of direct sunlight, vacuum regularly with a soft brush, dampen water-soluble marks and dry them with a paper towel, and use only water-based leather care products — never solvents; for stains that will not come out, ask a professional upholstery cleaner.
