Torii Bar and Counter Stool

Torii Bar and Counter Stool brings the arched backrest of Bensen's Torii seating collection, whose outline recalls the torii gates of Japanese Shinto shrines, to two heights: the Torii Bar Stool, 102 cm high, and the Torii Counter Stool, 90.5 cm high. The solid-wood legs are joined with exposed mortise-and-tenon joints, the backrest is fixed to each back leg with two long steel dowels and epoxy glue, and a solid aluminium foot rail protects the frame. The frame comes in solid oak, solid walnut or solid ash stained black (Black Ash), with a low-build, water-based polyurethane finish that leaves the open grain of the wood visible. The seat is upholstered in Bensen fabric or leather, chosen with each order, and the stool is made in Italy.
