Collar Bar and Counter Stool

The Collar stool brings the curved shell of Bensen's Collar collection to two heights: the Collar Bar Stool is 96 cm high with the seat at 76 cm, and the lower Collar Counter Stool is 82 cm high with the seat at 62 cm; both are 55 cm wide and 53 cm deep. The multi-density polyurethane backrest has a structural metal frame, and the multi-density polyurethane seat sits on an internal plywood support; the foam is made without flame-retardant chemicals. Both heights come with a choice of two bases: welded steel tubing in Chrome or Matte Black with plastic foot glides, or CNC-machined solid wood in Oak, Black Oak or Moka, finished with a low-gloss water-based clear coat and fitted with plastic glides. The covers are removable, and the stool is upholstered in Bensen fabric or leather; the exact material and colour are chosen with each order. Bensen intends the Collar Stool for kitchen islands, bars and hospitality spaces.

Care

The covers are removable. Fabric: the usual method is dry cleaning at the lowest possible temperature (mild solvents only — no trichloroethylene or oxidising agents); smooth creases with an iron on the lowest setting or with a steamer once the cover is back on, and use a professional upholstery cleaning service for more thorough cleaning. Leather: keep 20–30 cm from radiators and out of direct sunlight, vacuum regularly with a soft brush, dampen water-soluble marks and dry them with a paper towel, and use only water-based leather care products — never solvents; for stains that will not come out, ask a professional upholstery cleaner.
