Stax Chair

Stax Chair is a solid-wood dining chair by Bensen. The frame's corners are mitred, so the wood grain appears to run continuously around the back. The slung seat is upholstered in fabric and its cover is removable, and the chairs can be stacked for storage when they are not in use. The frame comes in solid oak or in solid ash, either natural, stained black (Black Ash) or stained to a walnut tone (Walnut Stained Ash). The fabric and its colour are chosen with each order. Care

The seat cover is removable. Fabric: the usual method is dry cleaning at the lowest possible temperature (mild solvents only — no trichloroethylene or oxidising agents); smooth creases with an iron on the lowest setting or with a steamer once the cover is back on, and use a professional upholstery cleaning service for more thorough cleaning. Wood frame: wipe with a soft cloth lightly dampened with lukewarm water and a mild, solvent-free detergent, then dry it; wipe up spills straight away. Do not use furniture polish, sheen agents, oil or wax, and keep the chair away from radiators, direct sunlight and sudden changes in temperature and humidity.
