Onto

Onto is Bensen's upholstered bed in two sizes, both 231 cm long and 92 cm high: Onto Queen, 180 cm wide, for a 153 × 203 cm mattress, and Onto King, 220 cm wide, for a 193 × 204 cm mattress; the mattress is not included. Its tall, cushioned headboard is angled for sitting up in bed; castors under the headboard make the bed easy to move for cleaning or rearranging, and the steel legs at the foot are recessed so that you do not stub your toes on them. The headboard and frame are CNC-cut composite wood panels clad in multi-density structural foam, and the mattress rests on steam-bent beech slats. The tailored covers of the headboard and rails are sewn in Bensen fabric or leather, chosen with each order, and are removable for cleaning or replacement. A machine-washable cotton headboard protector is included.

Care

The covers of the headboard and rails are removable, and the cotton headboard protector is machine-washable. Fabric: the usual method is dry cleaning at the lowest possible temperature (mild solvents only — no trichloroethylene or oxidising agents); smooth creases with an iron on the lowest setting or with a steamer once the cover is back on, and use a professional upholstery cleaning service for more thorough cleaning. Leather: keep 20–30 cm from radiators and out of direct sunlight, vacuum regularly with a soft brush, dampen water-soluble marks and dry them with a paper towel, and use only water-based leather care products — never solvents; for stains that will not come out, ask a professional upholstery cleaner.
