Everest

Everest is Bensen's upholstered storage bed, offered with a tall or a low headboard — Everest Storage Bed, 129 cm high, and Everest Low Storage Bed, 105 cm high — each in Queen (167 cm wide) and King (210 cm wide) sizes; all four are 229 cm long. The gently angled lower section of the headboard adds lumbar support without enlarging the bed's footprint, which makes Everest a good fit for smaller bedrooms; the tall headboard also gives full support when sitting up in bed. Steam-bent beech slats sit on a steel frame that needs no box spring and lifts on a mechanism to reveal a large storage compartment underneath. The headboard and bed frame are CNC-cut composite wood panels clad in multi-density structural foam; the cover, in Bensen fabric or leather chosen with each order, is removable and comes with a white cotton headboard protector. The bed takes a Queen- or King-size mattress to match its size; the mattress is not included.
